Dax David Riggs, born October 15, 1973 in Evansville, Indiana, is a rock musician. In his teens, Riggs fronted Corruption and later formed Acid Bath, blending sludge metal, swamp blues, doom metal, hardcore punk, and psychedelia. The band released When the Kite String Pops in 1994 and Paegan Terrorism Tactics in 1996 before disbanding following bassist Audie Pitre's death in 1997. Riggs then formed Agents of Oblivion and Deadboy & the Elephantmen. In 2007, he began his solo career with We Sing Of Only Blood Or Love, followed by Say Goodnight To The World in 2010. His third solo album, 7 Songs for Spiders, was released in 2025.
