Dan Whitlam is a British rapper, slammer and poet from South London. His style blends introspective rap, slam poetry and alternative hip-hop production. He first came to prominence on social networks, where his video for the track "Young Minds " went viral in 2022. He went on to enjoy the support of BBC radio and artists such as Fred Again and Arlo Parks. Signed to the Needwant label, he recorded several singles and took part in advertising campaigns. Among his most-listened-to tracks are "Lights Down" with KOATES (2022), "Juliette" (2023), "Satellite" (2024) and "Hear You Speak" with Tamzene (2026). In 2025, he sold out venues such as the Roundhouse in London and across the UK, before the February 2026 release of his debut album, Strangers (Again), charted at No. 26 in the download charts.
