Biography
CRX is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2013, consisting of Nick Valensi on lead vocals and guitar, Ralph Alexander on drums, Brad Oberhofer on keyboard and backing vocals, Jon Safley on bass and backing vocals, and Darian Zahedi on rhythm guitar. The band released their debut album New Skin on October 28, 2016, which included the single "Ways to Fake It" released in September of that year. Valensi described CRX's sound as a blend of power pop and heavy metal, influenced by artists such as The Cars, Cheap Trick, and Elvis Costello. In 2019, they released their second album Peek.
