Biography

Crooked Still, a progressive bluegrass band from the United States of America, was formed in 2001 by Aoife O’Donovan, Gregory Liszt, Corey DiMario, and Rushad Eggleston. Their debut album, Hop High, was released in 2004 and became a bestseller following performances at major festivals. Crooked Still's innovative sound gained significant attention. Their second album, Shaken By a Low Sound (2006), featured "Ain't No Grave", adapted for the soundtrack of the US series True Blood. In November 2007, Eggleston left and was replaced by Tristan Clarridge. Brittany Haas joined as a violinist. The band released several subsequent albums, including Still Crooked (2008), Live (2009), Some Strange Country (2010), and Friends of Fall (2011).
