Biography

Crimson Glory combines progressive metal and theatrical rock, wearing silver masks on stage. The American band, formed in 1982, is also distinguished by the mystical personality of its singer Midnight. After an opening Crimson Glory in 1986, the band released a progressive metal peak with Transcendence in 1988. Stange and Beautiful in 1991 was a disappointment, followed by Midnight's departure. Crimson Glory returned to the forefront with Astronomica in 1999. The comeback was short-lived, however, before a new line-up was announced in 2010 ahead of the release of the compilation In Dark Places...1986-2000.
