Stephen Goss, known professionally as Cousin Stizz, was born on March 15, 1992, in Dorchester, Boston, Massachusetts. He began his musical journey in adolescence, participating in local cyphers and forming the group Pilot Nation with friends. His breakthrough came in 2014 with the release of his first official single "Shoutout," which gained significant traction after Drake was seen playing it at a party. Stizz's debut mixtape Suffolk County, released on June 1, 2015, amassed over 12 million streams on SoundCloud. In late 2016, Cousin Stizz signed with RCA Records and released his debut studio album One Night Only in 2017, featuring collaborations with Offset, G-Eazy, Big Leano, and Buddy. The album's single "Headlock" (featuring Offset) reached over four million streams on Spotify and eight million on YouTube, peaking at number 12 on Billboard's Next Big Sound chart.
