Biography
Cody Imua Te Waa Patea aka Cody Wave was born and brought up on New Zealand's North Island learning to play guitar at the age of six before moving onto drums and piano. However, it was when he was eleven that his brothers introduced him to a piece of music software called 'Fruityloops'. This was the inspiration for him to begin creating and recording his own beats. It also lead him to start a computer course before dropping out to try making it as a musical professional. He released his debut single 'Royalty' in 2018.
