Cocolashika is a guitar-less, three-piece Japanese band formed in 2021 by vocalist/keyboardist Kouki, bassist Rana, and drummer Kota, all graduates of the renowned Saginomiya High School light music club. The teenage trio gained attention with their track âKoi yo, Odoridase,â created during a school project, which went viral on social media. Known for their minimalist yet emotionally rich sound, they describe their music as âa single intoxicating drink,â embracing the beauty of simplicity in their guitar-less setup. In November 2024, they released "Kabinv" as the ending theme for the drama Minor: Our Clumsy Progress, marking a significant step in their transition to the mainstream. Their first one-man show, San Genshoku, was held on March 20, 2025, at Spotify O-Crest, where they announced their major debut with For Life Music Entertainment. On May 1, they released their debut single "Tenohira de Odorasete", followed by "Gomen ne" on May 8. Both songs were produced by Grammy-winning sound producer Masanori Takumi. Their first mini album Freedom, featuring contributions from Hiroaki Yokoyama, Shingo Yasumoto, and Ryo Konishi, was released on May 21.
