Henry Russell Walter (born April 23, 1986, in Halifax, Nova Scotia), known as Cirkut, is a Canadian producer and songwriter. He began his career in Toronto, co-producing Britney Spearsâ Mmm Papi (2008). After relocating to Los Angeles, he co-produced Katy Perryâs Part of Me (2012) and The Weekndâs High for This. His major hits include Roar, Dark Horse, Wrecking Ball, and Starboy. In 2016, he contributed to Starboy, which won a Grammy. He co-produced Girls Like You (Maroon 5) and Jungkookâs Standing Next to You (2023), solidifying his influence in pop and R&B.
