Biography

Christopher Neville Eaton, born on September 16, 1958, in Sedgley, Staffordshire, England, is a British singer-songwriter known for his work in pop music. Prior to his solo career, Eaton was a member of the bands Lyrix and the Mark Williamson Band during the 1980s. His breakthrough came with the release of his debut album Vision (1986). He released Wonderful World (1995), which marked another significant milestone in his career. Eaton has collaborated extensively with other artists, writing songs for Cliff Richard, Amy Grant, Janet Jackson, and Jaci Velasquez. Notably, he penned “Saviour's Day”, a UK Christmas Number 1 single for Cliff Richard in 1990. He also toured the US to promote his albums and opened for Art Garfunkel in Europe in 1998. In addition to his solo work, Eaton contributed backing vocals to Roger Daltrey’s album Can't Wait to See the Movie (1987).
