The Choir of Trinity College, University of Melbourne, was established in 1934 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The choir began as a reorganized Glee Club into a chapel choir under T. M. Robinson and A. E. Floyd. In 1976, Peter Dennison became the first professional director of music, introducing auditions and scholarships to maintain high standards. The choir gained prominence through regular services in the college chapel and public concert performances. Notable achievements include participating in the Melbourne International Arts Festival in 2000 and the Melbourne Federation Festival in 2001, as well as performing at international festivals such as the Llangollen International Eisteddfod in 2001. The choir has recorded extensively for ABC Classics, with notable albums including Rejoice: Sacred Choral Music Through the Ages (2002), and My Spirit Sang All Day (2004).
