Niamh Houston, known professionally as Chipzel, and born on September 23, 1991, in Strabane, Northern Ireland, is a musician known for making chiptune music. Inspired by chiptune artist Sabrepulse, she started creating her own music using Little Sound DJ on a Game Boy around 2006. Her first release was the EP Judgement Day in 2009, followed by her debut album Disconnected in 2010. Houston gained significant attention with her work on the video game Super Hexagon, for which she composed the soundtrack including "Courtesy" and "Focus". This collaboration led to the release of the Super Hexagon EP in September 2012. Her subsequent albums include Starter Pack (2013), Spectra (2013), and Interstellaria (2015). In 2019, Houston worked on the music and sound effects for the game Dicey Dungeons.
