Biography
CHERRYBLOSSOM, a Japanese rock band originating from Nagoya, was formed in March 2007. The group consisted of MEEKO as the vocalist, MAICO as the second vocalist, YASU as the guitarist, and YUCCI on bass. In July 2007, they released an independent album Riskygirl, and in December 2007, they made their major label debut with "DIVE TO WORLD", the opening theme song for the anime Tutor Hitman REBORN! The single "Sakura Rock " released on February 18, 2009 was also used as the ending theme of the anime. The compilation album "COMPLETE BEST CHERRYBLOSSOM " was released on June 16, 2010. The band broke up after a live performance at Nagoya's Diamond Hall. After the breakup, their music continued to gain support, and in 2016, the band reunited for a limited time and performed a revival live concert over the next year.
