Biography
Charlie Hope is a Canadian childrenâs singer and songwriter. Her debut album Iâm Me! A Collection of Songs for Children won two Independent Music Awards in 2010 for Best Album and Best Song in the childrenâs music category, and was nominated for a Juno Award for Childrenâs Album of the Year. Her second album, World of Dreams, earned a Creative Child âSeal of Excellenceâ and a Parentsâ Choice Silver Award. In 2011 she released Songs, Stories and Friends: Letâs Go Play!, which won the Juno Award for Childrenâs Album of the Year in 2012 and the Independent Music Award for Best Childrenâs Album. The song âBest Friendsâ from that album was also nominated for an Independent Music Award. Charlie Hope grew up in Ashland, Massachusetts, from age 11, and currently resides in Seattle.
