Biography
Rocknoceros, an American children's band formed in Fairfax, Virginia, United States in 2005 by Marc "Boogie Woogie Bennie" Capponi and Patrick "Williebob" Williams. The group initially included a third founding member, David "Coach" Cotton, who retired from the band effective January 1, 2020. Rocknoceros released their debut album Rocknoceros in 2006, followed by Dark Side of the Moon Bounce in 2007, PINK! in 2009, Colonel Purple Turtle in 2011, and their fifth album, Plymouth Rockers, in June 2015. They also released Happy Holidays from Rocknoceros in 2015. Throughout their career, Rocknoceros has performed at notable venues including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Wolf Trap, and The Kennedy Center. In August 2017, the group began publishing a podcast titled Rocknoceros Podnoceros.
