Biography

Cerys Hafana, born Cerys Havana Hickman on July 23, 1984, in Machynlleth, Wales, is a harpist, pianist, and singer known for her contributions to folk music. Her early background includes training as a classical musician before transitioning into folk music. Hafana's career began with the release of her debut album Cwmwl on February 15, 2020. She followed this with Edyf in September 15, 2022, and continued to build her discography with subsequent releases including Difrisg, released on June 6, 2025, the EP The Bitter on April 4, 2025, and her fourth album Angel on September 26, 2025 . Notable singles include "The Wife of Usher’s Well" (released on October 25, 2023) and "Tra Bo Dau" (released on January 10, 2025).
