Catie Virginia Turner, born on 14 February 2000, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is a pop singer who gained attention as a contestant on the 16th season of American Idol, placing in the top seven. Her journey began with her original song "21st Century Machine", performed during her audition. After American Idol, she released her debut EP, The Sad Vegan, in June 2019, featuring notable singles such as "Prom Queen" and "Savior". In September 2019, "Prom Queen" was featured in the trailer for Shane Dawson's web series The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star. She signed with Atlantic Records in April 2020 and released her second EP, Heartbroken and Milking It, in July 2021. Her third EP, Comedy & Tragedy: Act I, was released in June 2023, followed by Comedy & Tragedy: Act II in October of the same year.
