Born in Mississippi and raised in Dallas, Texas, Carmen Rodgers is an R&B and neo-soul singer/songwriter. With a warm and smooth voice, sheâs attracted the attention of critics and fellow musicians. While she had recorded collaborations with Darryl Reeves, The Foreign Exchance, and Zo!, she didnât release her first solo album until 2004âs Free.
