Biography
Capkekz, born Jassin Arrais on May 27, 1979, in Cologne, Germany, is a German rapper of Moroccan descent. He developed an interest in hip-hop at the age of 12, inspired by breakdance and US-American and French rap. Capkekz began his musical journey as part of the rap group Die üblichen Verdächtigen, recording tracks with producer Bazzazian. In 2003, Capkekz met Eko Fresh, which began a long-standing collaboration, and joined the German Dream label. Throughout the mid-2000s, Capkekz contributed to various projects, including Summer Cem's Summer Cem wird ein Star and Eko Freshâs Fick immer noch deine Story. In 2015, he released his album Capoera under Milfhunter Records and an EP in 2017 with Versunkene Fabrik. In 2021, Capkekz launched his own label, Hustle macht den König.
