Cabballero was a German electronic and eurodance project that formed in the mid-1990s. The ensemble was founded by the musicians Ronald Bähr and Ricco Raggazzi and are famous for their techno-dance cover versions of tracks by the band Ultravox. They achieved professional recognition in 1994 with their debut single âGimme Gimme More and Moreâ, a cover of a track by ABBA. The groupâs vocals were provided by the singers Kristina Safrany and Sara Pola. Cabballero achieved international success with the tracks âHymnâ (1994) and âDancing with Tears in My Eyesâ (1995), the latter of which reached number 12 on the Austrian charts. Their discography includes the studio recording The Elements (1995), which features euro-hip-hop elements. They also released cover versions of the Camouflage track âLove Is a Shieldâ (1995), which reached number 14 in Austria. Other releases include the singles âNanayaâ (1996) and âLove Is the Messageâ (1996), both of which reached the Austrian charts.
