Biography

Brujería, an American extreme metal band of Mexican origin, was formed in Los Ángeles, California in 1989. The group initially consisted of members from other notable bands, including Dino Cazares and Billy Gould. Brujería released their first single "Demoníaco" in the same year they were founded. In 1993, they released their debut album Mantando Gueros, which featured controversial themes and imagery that sparked significant attention. The band's second studio album, Raza Odiada (1995), included notable tracks like "La Migra" and "La Ley De Plomo", both of which received music video releases. Brujería continued to release albums such as Brujerizmo (2000) and Pocho Aztlan (2016). The band's lineup has seen numerous changes over the years, with current members including Juan Brujo, Fantasma, Hongo, El Podrido, and Anton Reisenegger.
