Biography

Brown Eyes, a South Korean vocal group, debuted in 2001 under Stone Music Entertainment. The duo consists of Yoon Gun and Naul. Despite having no television appearances, Brown Eyes achieved significant commercial success with their debut eponymous album, released on June 7, 2001, which sold over 640,000 copies. The album featured notable tracks such as "Love Is Over" and "With Coffee". Their second album, Reason 4 Breathing?, was released on November 26, 2002, and also performed well, selling over 618,000 copies. This album included popular songs like "Brown City" and "True Luv For You". In May 2002, Brown Eyes performed the Korean version of the Official Anthem for the 2002 FIFA World Cup alongside Lena Park, marking a notable cultural milestone. The group announced their official disbandment in April 2003 but reunited five years later to release Two Things Needed For The Same Purpose And 5 Objects on June 19, 2008. This album featured the track "Your Eyes" and sold over 100,406 copies. After disbanding, Yoon Gun pursued a solo career and released his self-titled album in 2003, followed by Far East 2 Bricklane under Sony Music in 2012. He also collaborated with artists such as Seohyun of Girls' Generation and Hyori. Naul formed Brown Eyed Soul with other members Jungyup , Young Jun, and Sang Hoon.
