Biography

A composer and multi-instrumentalist, Brendan Perry was part of a punk band, The Scavengers, before forming the duo Dead Can Dance, one of the major references of English cold wave for two decades. In 1999, free of all commitments, he recorded his first solo album, Eye of the Hunter. A decade-long silence cut short by the reformation of Dead Can Dance separated the first opus from the second, Ark, released in 2010.
