Brancaccio & Aisher, the British duo of house music producers Luke Brancaccio and Bruce Aisher, emerged from the London electronic scene in the late 1990s. Their early work focused on remixing tracks for clubs, building a reputation for energetic, grooveâcentric productions. The pairâs breakthrough came with the 2000 single "Fracture", followed by "Music Don't Stop" in 2001, which positioned them on the radar of major dance labels. In 2001/2002 they released the single "It's Gonna Be⦠(A Lovely Day)", a reinterpretation of Bill Withersâ 1978 classic, which reached Number 1 on both the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart and the UK Dance Chart and peaked at number 40 on the UK Singles Chart. The success of this track led to releases on Bedrock Records, including "It's Gonna Be⦠(A Lovely Day) (Bedrock Dub)" and the single "Nighta Longa" in 2003, the latter becoming a club staple. In 2005 the duo expanded into the band Suicide Sports Club, releasing Electric Mistress and contributing the track "2.20 Boy" to the film The Invisible. Subsequent releases included "Everybody" (2003). Throughout their career, Brancaccio & Aisher maintained a presence on international dance charts and earned recognition for their consistent output of clubâready house music.
