Boyd Blake Rice (born December 16, 1956) is an American experimental noise musician from Denver, Colorado. Rice began creating sound recordings in 1975 and developed techniques for vinyl records including multi-axial rotation and the use of turntables as instruments. In 1978, he formed the duo NON with Robert Turman. Rice collaborated with experimental and dark folk artists including Current 93, Death in June, and Frank Tovey. Working under the moniker NON, Rice released the albums Might! (1995) and God & Beast (1997). His subsequent discography included the albums Back to Mono (2012) and Blast of Silence (2020). Beyond his music career, Rice was an author, photographer, and member of the Church of Satan. He documented the writings of Charles Manson as a contributing editor for the book The Manson File. Rice also self-published the memoir Twilight Man in 2011 and The Last Testament of Anton Szandor LaVey in 2019.
