Demba Nabé (born January 27, 1972 in Berlin-Buch; died May 31, 2018) was a German dancehall musician and rapper from Germany. He was also one of the three frontmen and a founding member of the band Seeed. He is best known under his stage names Boundzound, Ear and Demba Nabeh Boundzound. Demba Nabé began writing plays as early as 1989. With financial support from the state of Berlin, some of these were also performed. From time to time, he also acted in his plays himself. He later changed his artistic focus to singing, clarinet and songwriting. Demba Nabé began studying dance at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin. From 1998, music fans know him as one of the main protagonists in the band Seeed. He celebrated numerous successes with Seeed until his early death. At the same time, he founded his own solo project under the stage name Boundzound. In April 2007, the pre-release single "Louder" announces the debut album Boundzound, which is released shortly afterwards. The single climbs to number 17 in the German charts. The album reaches number 55 in Germany. The other single "Stay alive" reaches number 85 in Germany. In 2010, Boundzound released the single "Bang" together with Oceana . The song reached the top 50 in Germany and Austria. However, the album EAR, which followed a year later, did not match the success of its predecessor. Demba Nabé then returned to his activities with Seeed. Demba Nabé dies at the age of 46 on May 31, 2018.
