Ãngelo César do Rosário Firmino, known as Boss AC, was born on January 20, 1975, in Cape Verde and is a Portuguese rapper. He began his career in 1994 as a performer and producer on the compilation album Rapública. His debut solo album, Manda Chuva, was released in 1998. In 2005, he released Ritmo, Amor e Palavras, which included collaborations with artists such as Posdnuos from De La Soul and Sam the Kid. The album earned him a nomination for Best Portuguese Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards. His subsequent albums include Preto no Branco (2009) and AC Para os Amigos (2012), with notable singles like "Levanta-te" and "Sexta-feira".
