Biography
Boom Bap Project is an American hip hop group from Portland, Oregon. They consist of DJ Scene, Karim, and Destro, with DJ Scene being a member of MADK and 206Zulu tribe, while Karim and Destro are part of the Oldominion collective. They released their first album Circumstance Dictates EP (2001). Following this debut, DJ Tre was replaced by DJ Scene. Boom Bap Project released their second album Reprogram (2005) on Rhymesayers Entertainment. The album featured production from Jake One and Vitamin D, as well as guest appearances from Gift of Gab and Rakaa. Their discography includes the EP Return Flight EP (2021), and the songs "The Trade" b/w "Writers Guild" (2000), "Get Up, Get Up!" (2003), and "Rock the Spot" b/w "Wyle Out" (2005).
