Rajna Gerardina Boujoura Cleuver van Melzen, known professionally as Bojoura, was born on April 15, 1947, in The Hague, Netherlands. She is a Dutch singer who studied at the Royal Conservatory and the Academie voor Podiumvorming in the Hague and the Kleinkunstacademie in Amsterdam. Bojoura's career began singing songs by George Kooymans, who co-founded the rock band Golden Earring. Her first single, "Everybodyâs Day", reached number 18 on the Dutch Top 40. Throughout her career, Bojoura released several albums, including Art for Children (1967), Night Flight, Night Sight (1968), which was later reissued in 2010, The Best of Boujoura (1972), and Everybody's Day (2001). Notable songs include "Frank Mills", which peaked at number 8 in the Netherlands, and "The Letter", which reached number 16. After ending her singing career, she pursued further studies, completing degrees in English and Russian, and went on to teach secondary education.
