Biography

Christopher D. Caldwell, known professionally as Bob the Drag Queen, was born on June 22, 1986, in Columbus, Georgia, and is a drag queen, comedian, singer, actress, and LGBT activist. Her interest in drag began after watching RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2008. Initially performing under the name Kittin Withawhip, she later adopted Bob the Drag Queen in 2013. She participated in the eighth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, which she won on May 16, 2016. Following her victory, Caldwell released several singles including "Purse First" and "Bloodbath". She also released two albums: GAY BARZ EP on February 10, 2023, and Woke Man in a Dress on October 13, 2023. New York listed her as one of the twenty most influential drag queens in the United States in 2019.
