Biography
Bloody Hammers, an American heavy metal band, was founded in 2010 by Anders Manga in Transylvania County, North Carolina. Initially a solo project inspired by Roky Erickson's "Bloody Hammer" song, Manga released early recordings on Bandcamp. The band gained traction when SoulSeller Records offered a vinyl release for their initial songs. In 2012, Bloody Hammers released their self-titled debut album with the help of Mangaâs wife Devallia on keyboards. They signed with Napalm Records in 2014 and released Under Satan's Sun, expanding their reach through European tours and festival appearances, including the UK's Download Festival. Notable albums include Lovely Sort of Death (2016), The Summoning (2019), Songs of Unspeakable... Terror (2021), and Washed in the Blood (2022).
