Biography
BINI are a Filipino girl group who formed in 2020 after appearing on ABS-CBN's Star Hunt Academy. Comprising members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, the made their debut in 2021 with Born to Win, and quickly gained popularity with their catch P-pop (Pinoy pop) tunes. The name BINI is derived from the Filipino word binibini, which means "young lady". The group are part of a new wave of Filipino pop groups that blend K-pop-inspired elements with their Filipino roots, creating a unique sound that spans genres like pop, R&B, and dance-pop. With an ever-expanding fanbase, the group continue to elevate the P-pop (Pinoy pop) scene both locally and internationally with releases such as LP Feel Good (2022), hit singles like "Salamin, Salamin" (2024) and "Blink Twice" (2025), and EPs like Biniverse.
