Biography

Big Something, an American alternative rock band, formed in 2009 in Burlington, North Carolina. Initially known as "anonymous" in Maryland, they released their debut album, Songs from the Middle of Nowhere, in 2010, which won the Home Grown Music Network's 2010 Album of the Year award. Their self-titled second album, released in 2013, earned three Album of the Year awards. The band continued with releases such as Truth Serum (November 4, 2014), Tumbleweed (2017), and Escape (2020). Big Something is known for their high-energy live performances. In March 2023, bassist Doug Marshall retired from touring and was replaced by Matt Laird.
