The J-pop girl group Beyooooonds formed in October 2018, featuring twelve vocalists spread across three different units. Led by Reina Ichioka, Kurumi Takase, and Miyo Hirai, the group made its highly-celebrated debut with 2019's "Megane no Otoko no Ko / Nippon no D·N·A! / Go Waist," a triple-sided single that peaked at Number 1 on the Oricon chart and Number 2 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100. A full-length album, Beyooooond1st, was released later that year, charting at Number 3 on the Oricon Albums Chart and earning Beyooooonds the "Best New Artist" honor at the 61st Japan Record Awards. Beyooooonds expanded its multi-media reach in 2020, hosting a series of radio programs throughout the year and also appearing in the group's own TV variety show, KURAGAE ~Watashitachi no Koto, Oshite Kudasai!. A second multi-song single, "Gekikara Love / Now Now Ningen / Konna Hazu ja Nakatta!," followed in March 2021. In March 2022 they issued their third single âEiyÅ« â Waratte! Chopin Senpai / Hamukatsu Mokushirokuâ, followed in September by their second album Beyooooo2nds. Their fourth single âMotomeyo...Unmei no Tabibitozan / Yume Sae Egakenai Yozora ni waâ arrived in April 2023, while 2024 saw both new music and member changes: leader Reina Ichioka graduated in March after a health-related hiatus, the group released the fifth single âHai to Diamond / Go City Go / Hooke no HÅsokuâ, before Yuhane Yamazaki left in June. In 2025 they dropped a sixth single, âDo-Did-Done / Aa Kimi ni Tenseiâ, and Rika Shimakura graduated in June to study abroad, while Momohime Kiyono suspended activities from late August due to an anxiety disorder, leading to her absence from several concerts, events and the promotion cycle for the single âSaiKOO DE DANCEâ. In December 2025, they released their third album Beyooooonds 3rd, featuring the track "Do-Did-Done".
