Giuseppe "Beppe" Carletti, born on August 12, 1946 in Novi di Modena, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, is a musician and songwriter. At the age of sixteen, he founded the band I Nomadi with Augusto Daolio, Franco Midili, Leonardo Manfredini, Gualtiero Gelmini, and Antonio Campari. Carletti's humanitarian efforts include founding hospitals in Cambodia and Vietnam to aid girls affected by slavery. He was named Knight of the Italian Republic on February 18, 2005, by then-President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi. His musical career spans several albums, including L'altra metà dell'anima (2011), Sarà per sempre (2022) and Soldi in tasca non ne ho...ma lassù mi è rimasto Dio (2025).
