The Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles are a traditionalist Benedictine order of nuns founded by Sister Mary Wilhelmina Lancaster in Gower, Missouri. The community was established in 1995 under the auspices of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter and initially named the Oblates of Mary, Queen of Apostles. Their album, Advent at Ephesus, released in 2012, marked their breakthrough moment, reaching number 2 on Billboard's Classical Traditional Music Chart. In 2013, they were named Billboard's Classical Traditional Artist of the Year, a first for any community of nuns. The group's subsequent albums, including Angels and Saints at Ephesus (2013) and Lent at Ephesus (2014), also achieved significant chart success.
