Biography

Bart Kaëll, born Bart Marcel Emilienne Gyselinck on August 2, 1960 in Oudenaarde, Belgium, is a Belgian singer and TV host. In 1982, Bart Kaëll participated in the TV show Baccarabeker, winning the audience award for his singing. He released his debut single "Symfonie" in 1983 as part of the Belgian Eurovision Song Contest selection process. His debut album Bart Kaëll was released in 1989, which included songs like "De Marie-Louise" and "Duizend terrassen in Rome". Kaëll received a gold record for a 30-year career at the Annes Flemish Music Awards in 2013. In the same year, he was inducted into the Radio 2 Hall of Fame.
