Biography

Esther MÃ©ndez, known professionally as BAMBIKINA, was born on February 16, 1991, in JaraÃz de la Vera, Spain. She gained initial recognition through her participation in the Coca Cola Concerts Club in 2012. BAMBIKINA began her music career with the release of her first EP Caravana in 2014, which showcased her folk style with North American roots. Her debut album Referencias, released in 2016, featured 12 tracks inspired by various cultural icons. In 2018, she released her second album El PÃ¡jaro Que Trajo el Fuego. BAMBIKINA's third album, TÃºnel, was released in 2020 as a conceptual work exploring anxiety disorders. She has performed at numerous festivals including WOMAD and Dcode, and her song "Hazme Llorar un RÃo" was featured in the Netflix series Valeria.
