BAE173, a South Korean boy band under the management of PocketDol Studio, initially comprised nine members: J-Min, Hangyul, Yoojun, Muzin, Junseo, Youngseo, Doha, Dohyon, and Bit. Their debut EP, Intersection: Spark, was released on November 19, 2020, featuring the title track "Crush on U". The music video amassed 10 million views within six days, while the EP secured the 12th position on the Korean charts. Following their debut success, on November 29, the group released a fan-centric track titled "Every Little Thing is You" (모두 너야), with writing credits attributed to the group's youngest member, Dohyon. On April 8, 2021, BAE173 unveiled their second EP, Intersection: Trace, (featuring lead single "Loved You"), which reached number 32 on the charts and earned the group two nominations at the Asia Artist Awards. Their third EP, Intersection: Blaze, dropped on March 30, 2022, featuring the lead single "Jaws", August 17, 2022, saw the release of their fourth EP, Odyssey: Dash, which finally cracked the top 10. Dohyon departed from the group on June 22, 2023, and the group recorded their first EP without him, unveiling New Chapter: Luceat, on March 13, 2024, which debuted at number 8. On October 14, 2025, BAE173 released their first studio album, NEW CHAPTER : DESEAR.
