Attaullah Khan Niazi, known professionally as Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi, is a Pakistani musician, singer, poet, and actor born on August 19, 1951, in Isakhel. He developed an interest in music as a child and practiced songs by Mohammed Rafi and Mukesh. After leaving home at age 18, he supported himself by working while traveling throughout Pakistan. In 1972, he was invited to perform on Radio Pakistan, Bahawalpur, and later appeared on the television show Neelam Ghar in 1973. In 1977, he recorded four albums in Faisalabad that became national bestsellers. He performed his first international concert in the United Kingdom in 1980. In 1991, he received the Pride of Performance, followed by an acting debut in the 1992 film Dil Lagi. He entered the Guinness World Records in 1994 for releasing the highest number of audio albums. He appeared on Coke Studio in 2011 and 2017 and received the Sitara-i-Imtiaz in 2019.
