Supawatt Aumprasit, known professionally as Art Supawatt Purdy, was born on September 1, 1974, in Bangkok, Thailand. He began his career acting in Thai television mini-series before transitioning into music. In 2003, Purdy signed with Warner Music Thailand and released his debut album Art of Love. Following the album's release, he embarked on concert tours across Japan, USA, and Europe. In 2008, Purdy contributed to the soundtrack of the film Soi Cowboy, recording three new songs including a cover version of the Southern gospel classic "Where We'll Never Grow Old" and an uptempo rendition of "Yaak Euie Wa Ruk." His work on the soundtrack earned him recognition at the 61st Cannes Film Festival. In 2019, he played a leading villain role in Sarawat Yai, for which he received the Nagaraj Awards for Best Multitalented Actor of the Year.
