Arno Jordaan, born on 19 February 1984 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, is a singer known for his contributions to Afrikaans pop music. Initially interested in rugby, Jordaan's musical career began in 2003 when he appeared as a contestant on the reality television show kykNET Zing on the Afrikaans language TV station kykNET, where he partnered with Susan and finished as runner-up. This exposure led to his signing with EMI label, resulting in his debut album Vir altyd in jou drome (2003), a collaboration with Susan. Jordaan's solo career took off with the release of Altyd in 2005, followed by Ek wil jou hê! in 2006, which went platinum. He has since released several albums, including Wil jy iets sê? (2007), Gee my (2009), and Stukkie van my hart (2010). Jordaan has also performed at international rugby events, singing the South African national anthem.
