Biography

Army of Anyone was an American rock group from Los Angeles, formed in 2005. The supergroup featured vocalist Richard Patrick, guitarist Dean DeLeo, bassist Robert DeLeo, and drummer Ray Luzier. The band’s formation followed a collaboration between Patrick and the DeLeos on the recording “A Better Place” while taking breaks from their respective groups, Filter and Stone Temple Pilots. The group released the debut album Army of Anyone in 2006. Produced by Bob Ezrin, the album featured the recording “Goodbye”, which reached number 3 on the US Mainstream Rock chart. The band also released the recording “Father Figure”, which reached number 31. The album reached number 56 on the Billboard 200 and sold 88,000 copies by 2010. Following a tour where the band performed songs from Filter and Stone Temple Pilots, the group became inactive in mid-2007. Patrick returned to Filter, and the DeLeos rejoined Stone Temple Pilots. Army of Anyone became inactive in 2007.
