Arjunâ¯Tariqâ¯Kumaraswamy (bornâ¯23â¯Septemberâ¯1990 in Colombo, Sriâ¯Lanka) is a singer noted for blending Western R&B with SouthâAsian sounds. His 2011 remix of "Why This Kolaveri Di" earned over three million views and a Britâ¯Asia Music Awards nomination. He signed with TâSes in 2014, releasing "Iâll Be Waiting" which topped the iTunes India chart, and later joined Island Records, issuing the album Closer to Home in 2018, which entered the iTunes R&B chart at Number 1. Subsequent singles include "Suit Suit" (2017) and "Tingo" (2019). He toured the UK, US, and Australia, performed at the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup theme, and collaborated with Guru Randhawa and Vidya Vox. In 2025, Arjun released the single "We Ain't Gonna Stop (Ek Pal Ka Jeena)", which reached number 14 on the UK's British Asian Music chart.
