Arc Angels, a blues rock band from Austin, Texas, was formed in the early 1990s by Doyle Bramhall II and Charlie Sexton on vocals and guitar, along with Tommy Shannon on bass and Chris Layton on drums. Their debut album, Arc Angels, was released in 1992 under David Geffen Company, featuring notable tracks such as "Shape I'm In" and "Sent by Angels." Bramhall II's drug struggles led to internal conflicts, resulting in the band's disbandment in October 1993. Following their breakup, Shannon and Layton continued to work together, while Bramhall II entered a rehabilitation program and Sexton pursued a solo career. The band officially reunited briefly in 2009 before disbanding again.
