Angelina Mango (born April 10, 2001 in Maratea) is a pop singer from Italy. She is the daughter of the musician Mango Valente and the former singer of the Italian pop group Matia Bazar, Laura Valente. Angelina Mango has been interested in music since she was a child. In 2020, she released her first EP with Monolocale. A year later, she signs a contract with Sony Music. In November 2022, Angelina Mango takes part in the TV casting show "Amici di Maria De Filippi". She ends up in second place and receives much critical acclaim. In 2023, she scores a summer hit in Italy with the song "Ci pensiamo domani". The single reached number 7 in Italy and quadruple platinum status. The accompanying EP Voglia di vivere reaches number 2 in the Italian charts and goes gold. Later in the year, Angelina Mango lands another hit with "Che t'o dico a fa'"(number 2 in Italy) another hit. At the beginning of 2024, the singer wins the Sanremo Festival 2024 and represents Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "La noia". The single reaches number 4 in Italy and is also placed in the charts in Austria and Switzerland. The EP Poké melodrama is released at the end of May 2024. This is the artist's first number 1 success in her native Italy.
