Biography

Lili Añel, born Eulalia Añel, is an American singer-songwriter. Añel signed with Palmetto Records, releasing her debut album Laughed Last in 1993. She studied with jazz singer Shelia Jordan and enrolled at Eddie Simon's Guitar Study Center. Añel moved to Philadelphia in 2004 and began performing locally. Her breakthrough came with the single "Supposed to Be" from Every Second in Between (2009), featured in USA Today's Playlist on September 15, 2009. She also notably worked with four-time Grammy winner Glenn Barratt on Every Second in Between. Subsequent releases include I Can See Bliss from Here (2013) and Better Days (2019).
