Biography
Günter Kunz-Hager, known professionally as Guenta K. and later DJ Ostkurve, was born on May 19, 1966, in Vienna, Austria. He began his career as a DJ in 1984. In 2001, he opened his own studio and started releasing music under various names, including DJ Ostkurve, DJ Da Beat, and Nobodys Perfect. Notable releases include Das Party-Album (2004) and 5 Years Plus 1 (2013). Guenta K. produced numerous remixes for artists such as DJ Ãtzi, Maite Kelly, and VoXXclub. He was also a co-founder of the DJ-Charts Austria and Promo Pool in 2001 and served as chairman of the Austrian Dance Music Awards committee. His work has earned him multiple awards, including the Top of the Mountains Award for Best Producer in 2016 and Best Remixer in 2023.
