Ana Faria Fainguelernt, known professionally as Ana Frango Elétrico, was born on December 9, 1997, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As a teenager, they began studying guitar under Brazilian guitarist Aloysio Neves and formed the band Almoço Nu with classmates, blending rock and roll with maracatu and cumbia influences. In 2016, Fainguelernt started recording their debut album Mormaço Queima, which was released in 2018. The following year, they released their second studio album Little Electric Chicken Heart. This album garnered a nomination for Best Portuguese Language Rock or Alternative Album at the 21st Annual Latin Grammy Awards in 2020. In 2023, Fainguelernt released their third studio album Me Chama de Gato Que Eu Sou Sua, which was critically acclaimed and chosen by the Associação Paulista de CrÃticos de Arte as one of the 50 best Brazilian albums of that year.
