Aloha from Hell was a German popârock group formed in 2006 in the Aschaffenburg area, comprising vocalist Vivien Bauernschmidt, guitarists Andreas Gerhard and Moritz Keith, bassist Max Forman, and drummer Felix Keith. The band first gained national attention by winning the BRAVO Bandnewcomer Contest in 2007, which secured a contract with Sony BMG and led to the release of their debut single "Don't Gimme That" in May 2008, peaking at number 30 on the German singles chart. Their debut album, No More Days To Waste, followed on 16 January 2009 and established the groupâs presence in Europe, with the single "Can You Hear Me Boys" receiving significant airplay and a music video filmed in Los Angeles. The band toured extensively, performing at the BRAVO Supershow, the Summer Sonic festival in Tokyo alongside acts such as Linkin Park, and securing club fan bases in France, Spain, the United States, and Russia. In July 2010, Aloha from Hell announced their disbandment, concluding a brief yet impactful career that highlighted the rise of German popârock in the late 2000s.
